Does my citizenship application depend on the amount of time spent by me previously in Canada?

Yes, Citizenship and Immigration Canada takes into account the time spent legally in Canada prior to becoming a Canadian Permanent Resident towards the count of 1095 days which is required to qualify for Canadian Citizenship. Before applying for Citizenship within this four year the days spent in Canada is taken as half a day up to a maximum credit of one year. And each day spent in Canada as Permanent Resident will count as one day.
