What is serious criminality?

This is also concerned with two categories,

Within Canada:

Any act conviction and punishable by a maximum of at least ten years, or

The conviction that lead to a prison term of at least six months.

Outside Canada:

Any act of an indictable offence which is equivalent as, if committed in Canada and punishable by a maximum sentence of at least ten years, or

Any act of an hybrid offence which is equivalent as, if committed in Canada and punishable for at least ten years as maximum, or

Any commission of act which is equivalent to indictable offence as, if committed in Canada and punishable for at least ten years as maximum period.
