The sponsor, co-signer who wishes to share the financial needs of the Sponsor should sign an undertaking that the financial needs of the Sponsored persons will be completely taken by them for a particular period from the time the Sponsored persons arrived at Canada. This agreement is done to avoid the Sponsored persons to come under the Canadian public welfare assistance. A similar procedure is followed for the Sponsors who reside in Quebec.
